Freebie Cutting Files

Sadly I've lost some of the original downloads I had available for you but have made what I have into Dropbox Links which shouldn't expire.  If you have any of the original Studio Files I supplied as downloads and are able to email them to me at hwest@gatehousedesigns.co.uk it would be greatly appreciated and I can add them to the list.

These are available for you use for your personal use, not for resale.  If you are making cards etc created with elements cut using these designs then you are able to sell the finished project.

    I'll try again as that came out as utter garbage!
    Will these free files work with a Craft Robo? Although mine is about 5 years old I only use it infrequently and can't justify the expense to replace it.

    Loved the Cameo shows yesterday on C & C. Is there any chance of you doing more shows so that you can go into more detail on how to do things. One hour isn't enough - what about Hayley's Cameo Classroom!!

    Hi there Hayley thank you for all your fab tutorials, and have been trying to get a copy of your cutting files but was only able to get one the butterfly, all the rest keep saying no longer available seen that you reactivated them on the 13th April, is there any chance you could do it again pretty please:-) thanks once again for all your help with the cameo, hubby only just purchased one last week for me and have been having fun trying it out, had a CR for 2yrs but could not get it to work and had no support from where we purchased it from..off to try out the decoupage one now..xxxx

    Hi Just tried to download the files today as I've just added to your follow list and I cannot download - am I doing something wrong?


    I have an original Craft Robo and just wounder what is the difference between a silhouette and a Robo? (I have not found any problems with the silhouette software whilst using my Robo)

      Hello Linda, The Cameo and the Portrait by Silhouette can cut up to 350GSM card, I have also cut felt with it and material, Silhouette chipboard, etc... The Cameo cuts up to 12" wide and 10ft long (if you use vinyl on a roll for example). Regarding the files being unavailable, please see Hayley's message here below :-). Take care

She's in the process of moving house and her portable hard drive, which is where the files are saved, is packed in a box As soon as she finds it she'll get everything sorted.

    ditto to the other cant download messages...... great show today x have had my sihouette over a year..... the insructions were missing but i have kind of muddled through... your show has re inspired me ... am goin to dust off and wait for my upgrade stuff to arrive ... can you do some u tube tutorials i could have you there whenever i needed inspiration and help ... big hugs x

      I would like to use the links too and I too would like to know why they dont work, it would be good to have them working again, does anyone know of any other good places to get some good free svg files, thanking you in advance.

    Hayley, please can you help me, I have a Daniela Angelova happy birthday accordion card by Daniela Angelova that I have paid for and downloaded from the Silhouette site, (so you can have a look to see what I am talking about)Pit is a lovely but I am trying to make it without the cut outs happy birthday to you, I just want to take out those cuts, is it possible, I know that I would also like to do it with other things but since I lost or deleted my saved C&C programmes that I recorded on instructions that you gave out I cannot do a thing I do find the instruction manual a little daunting. Is there a YouTube video or something similar that I can watch I have tried all week to find out how to remove this but I cant please help, please. Thanks Lynne

    hi haley i have just payed to upgrade to the designer edition of the software but i cant find the download code to type in the box can you help please

      Hi Gary

      I'm pretty sure there's an 'Upgrade to Designer Edition' button under one of the headings at the top of the page when you open the Standard Software. I think it's under the 'Help' heading.

    Hi Hayley, I always try to catch the Cameo shows and particularly like you presenting them, you are a great inspiration. I've been away and only caught the last few moments of a repeat show which showed you taking a photo and turning it in to a cutting file. Can you please tell me how to do this or is it already somewhere else for me to find. Thank you very much for all your helpful advice on C & C. Jacquie

      Hi Jacquie

      You need to use the Trace and Cut Feature used in the Die Cut Decoupage Tutorial but you don't need to do the print bit

    Hi Hayley,
    Caught the programme - excellent as usual, but I wonder if you could help me. had my Cameo for a year now - love it, but my blade has suddenly stopped cutting crisply! Tearing the card or the paper, and I have used the appropriate cutting number on the blade, always put the blade in a safe place when using the pens and always point the little "wing" to the front when inserting the pen. Is it just time for a new blade?

      It may be time for a new blade. It might also be worth having a look at the tip under with a magnifying glass to see if the tip has been chipped off.

    Hi Hayley,
    I have downloaded the new v3 program for the Silhouette cameo and am having trouble with cutting out my shapes, It doesn't cut all the way through the card even on a double cut. Could you please help.
